Comments
Comments: Had hoped to get some views before the fog descended this morning but no luck. Crawford Path to Pierce is a well packed highway. Most people were in snow shoes (thank you) which we used all day. The trail over to Eisenhower is a little boney bur shoes were the best option. Route finding in the fog needed some care but the cairns were generally visible. Quite brisk on the summit of Eisenhower I should have put my face mask on sooner as the winds were tough on exposed skin. Quite a few people on Pierce. Not many headed north though we ran into two hikers at 1pm who said they were headed to Appalachia. Webster Cliff toward Mizpah was broken out but not packed. Crawford toward Monroe had seen some use. And two people we saw on Eisenhower said they broke out thigh deep snow on Edmands Path. Congrats to KarenM for 45 & 46 W4K and thanks for pushing me to finish my second W4K lap.
