Broke out bushwhack from bike path 5 minutes south of Basin parking lot. Trail was nicely packed and held up well with a lot of hikers. Temps and winds were moderate today, with a variable, but sometimes strong wind on Liberty summit area. We decided to skip Flume. No views, but a very nice hike. Some fine butt sliding too : ) Great hiking again with Clare. |
