Valley way was loose powder this morning, snowshoes were the best option. From Madison Hut to the summits, microspikes worked well due to many rocks and not much snow. Snowshoes from hut down to car, though the lower part of VW was packed down, we were just too lazy to take the snowshoes off. Lots of people out and about enjoying the great day. It's not everyday you get to hang out on the summits in Winter! Nice meeting you TimC. |
