Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A few minor stepovers, one easy walk around. The person who came up from Galehead and headed across Twinway TRASHED the trail by barebooting it. They postholed every step about twelve inches, some as deep as sixteen inches. It was not barefoot conditions and not fair to others using the trails.

Comments
Comments: Went up today to break out/ pack the route up the Twins over to Bondcliff Trail. I haven't seen much for trail reports on this section and wanted to make it more passable for a traverse planned for Friday. Trail was in great shape from Seven Dwarfs to Fire Wardens trail. After that was partially broken out by a single snowshoer. Couple inches of fresh over 3-4 unpacked below. Fresh snow increased to about 3-4 incheswith drifting at top. Twin Spur was about the same. Twinway was deep and untracked. Unfortunately it was a completely postholed mess. I patched as best I could. Return trip flattened it to some extent, but it will need some traffic to consolidate it. Trails from South Twin back to SD all pretty well packed, more firm the lower you are. One skier following my route was on way over to Hale and back down Fire Wardens. Gorgeous day to be out. All summits cloud free all day.
