Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Snow - Unpacked Powder, Snow - Drifts, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular |

By and large the snowshoe track was well packed out. Above 3500' there was some light drifting. Once in the low/stunted trees there was significant drifting, up to a foot in spots, and completely obscuring the snowshoe track. J held back at the treeline, but I continued on to the summit. Strong winds were at my back while going up, but made coming down very difficult. Out tracks were gone in spots on the way back. |
