| Comments: |
Parking lot to Flume in highway condition. Junction on FRT towards Lincoln windblown heavy drifts; likewise on Osseo trail. Descending the slide with snowshoes adequate . . . care taken to avoid some ice flows. An aggressive snowshoe or cramprons approriate if planning to ascent the slide at present. Flume Slide Trail has seen little activity and was choppy due to barebooter. Between myself and incoming hiker also wearing snowshoes should be smoother. |
