Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Blowdowns on Avalon and Willey Range Trail- all have been noted before. Easy over, under or around. One on lower part of Avalon requires getting to your needs to get under with pack on your back. Willey Range trail out to Mt. Willey is nicely marked. I wish the summits had a marker, especially when off trail or when the summit could be misconstrued for a bulge nearby.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Fine for dogs. Access to water an issue as most brooks are closed up or unsafe for a dog to get any access to drink.
Bugs
Bugs:
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: One mitten, women that lost it said to just set it off trail, so I did.

Comments
Comments: Great day to be hiking. Warm enough, good trail conditions and low wind. Some views later in the day. Went up Avalon to the ridge in micro-spikes. Too soft after that heading out to Mt. Willey so I put on the shoes. Ran into probably 25 or more folks during the day so all the trails should be well packed down now.
