Had a great hike with Dean. We saw a lone hiker ahead of us and 4 Teenage kids in microspikes behind us. Trail was not packed well on the way up - we were surprised by the amount of snow on the trail. We used snowshoes without any problems. We had to find our way through thick fog on the last 0.5 mile to the summit. Visibility was about 20 ft at the summit. We saw 30 hikers ascending as we descended halfway down the mountain. The trail should be well packed for Sunday. |
