Comments
Comments: Very little snow to 1500 feet..while we used snowshoes from the car it would be Easily microspiked to Bald Knob..snow depth increases rapidly from there but nothing like Crawford area..I would guess 15-20 inches new snow at 4000 feet here, Trail as of today loose packed to the ridge.. A bit more traffic on KRT has a firmer base.. The ledges allcovered up with snow ramps..Route between North and South perfect for a 4 footer...quite the tunnel in that section had us bending over a bit.. no views..no wind..mild temps..someone has postholed badly in spots up to North but they turned around there..Quite a bit of drifting through the col..Nice day out
