| Water Crossing Notes: |
Black brook on the wilderness trail was mostly bridged. The first two crossings on the Bondcliff trail were rockhops. The second two were bridged but take care on the third because the recent rain washed out a 2-3 section. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
A couple of walk around and a few duck unders. Trail is in very good shape. |

Saw three happy pups enjoying the snow on the Wilderness trail. |

Trail very hard packed out to the Osseo junction. Most of the traffic had turned off there and it was less consolidated but still firm to the bridge. After that the Wilderness trail just a had a thin x-c ski track out to the Bondcliff trail. I could only fit one snowshoe in at a time. Past the BC junction there was 2-3 inches of powder in a well packed out track. Looks like it was traveled last Sunday and then filled in with Monday's snow. Easy going up to and across the brook crossings. Snow filled in track beyond last crossing but was fluffy and easy travel. Ledge below BC summit was mostly filled in. Across the Bondcliff summit was mostly covered in snow with occasionally rocky sections. I remained in snowshoes throughout. As I hit treeline ascending Bond, I found all of the snow that blew off Bondcliff. It seemed like several feet about the packed footbed. It was somewhat consolidated from blowing but it was a tough final ascent. Having reach my fun quotient for the trip, I decided to call it a day. |
