Comments
Comments: I thought about quitting about halfway up to Lonesome Lake as my calves were swearing at me in some unknown language. After that it turned out to be a great day. I wore snowshoes all day. The trails all the way to South Kinsman are well broken out at this point. I met a guy named Bruce, who is on his second round of the grid, on his way back from South. Between us we were able to trample the new snow on top of the last groups efforts from yesterday. There are a couple of spots that are tricky with the shoes on and there is one very slippery tricky spot just above the big ice flow. Now much distant view today.
