Comments
Comments: Second half of a double hit and run (Tecumseh in morning) Ran into Gary and Alberta right at the base and chatted a bit. They had left a nice snowshoe track down but warned of barebooters above. Fairly bony up to the ski trails crossings and snow depths increased as we climbed to 12-16 inch range. Crystal clear views from the cliffs with some heavy drifting in that area. Amazingly a group of 5 with only 2 sets of snowshoes..what a choppy mess. Snow pretty much blown clear off summit where it was breezy and cold..did not linger there. Fast descent..at one of the corners towards the base we followed some tracks through the woods in very fun deep powder parallel to the ski trail which emptied us out at the parking lot. Great day out with Valerie..could have gone higher I guess but the deep fluffy powder we ran into at this elevation made it a great snowshoe day
