Comments
Comments: I was expecting to break trail up to Pierce this morning but someone had gone up yesterday so there was a light dusting of snow over the tracks. It still felt like breaking trail though as second man doesn't have to find the trail just pack it down. It was smooth sailing up to the Webster Cliff Trail and I decided to head over to Eisenhower.

The Crawford Path past the junction was not tracked out and there were drifts 3-4 feet deep. After 30 minutes and a third of the way there I decided to turn around as I did not tell my wife that I would be heading to Eisenhower and she would be expecting me home before noon. Once back to the Webster Cliff Junction, I met three people who were heading to Eisenhower. Also, on my way down the Crawford Path I met more hikers who were heading to Eisenhower so it should be pretty well packed by now. The Crawford Path is in excellent shape but I would still recommend snowshoes because the snow is still soft. It was an excellent day out with wonderful views in all directions.
