Comments
Comments: The rain depleted the snow on this eastern exposure trail. Very thin cover down low, with a light dusting - just enough to hike ice, so light traction down low is still needed. I used Hillsound Pros up and back, and my friends used a mixture of Hillsound Trail and Petzel crampons. Snowshoes not needed. Lots of thick ice/boilerplate. Saw Guy and Ed as they're working on their 48 also. Not many others out today - maybe due to football game? Better weather than expected and not as cold as on Friday.
