Easy trail today. Saw nobody in the 2 hours it took to summit. Saw about a dozen ascending on our descent. The usual ice bulges were non-existent. Not much snow on the trail, but enough to provide the necessary bite for the spikes - the traction of choice for all we saw today (except the dog).
Pretty frigid on the summit.
Got some nice pics of Gibbs thanks to not post-holing as soon as we stepped off trail. |
