Comments
Comments: Barebooted to the hut and switch to crampons, ski googles, balaclava. Met two other hikers, Kevin and Austin, and we ascended Lafayette together. High winds on the ridge, and bitter cold, but the trail was in good shape.

Sheltered on south side of Lafayette. Ridge traversal was windier than Lafayette, probably due to updrafts and turbulence. Got some frost nip on my waist. Spectacular views made it worth it.

Saw two others come down from Lafayette, and a couple on Lincoln we eventually caught up with. As we left Haystack saw one person on Lincoln. A lot more people than I expected which is a pleasant surprise.

Thanks to Kevin and Austin for giving me a ride back to my car. Hope to bump into you guys again some day.
