Ravine Lodge Road closed. NH 118 has the usual winter frost heaves. |

Grete had alot of fun. I believe this loop would make an ideal winter introductory hike for a puppy or young dog. |

Hung a fleece type hooded jacket on a limb where found-about a 1/2 mile from the summit on Gorge Bk. |

| Comments: |
Early am views to the presidential range under a low ceiling. Barebooted easily without damage on well packed trail to summit. Snowshoes on Carriage Rd and Snapper trail. Snow began at 9:15 approaching summit; falling at a good pace around noon at the car. |
