The trail is well broken in all the way. I used spikes all day, crampons could have been useful in a couple spots, but I didn't feel like switching back and forth. Bitter cold on the ridge, mostly rock, the winds were insane. I could barley stay on my feet in a couple spots. Beautiful day though, totally worth fighting the wind. A lot of folks out, but it seemed I had the ridge to myself. |
