Comments
Comments: Pretty chilly morning and the winds were strong on the tower but it was not as much a deep freeze as I expected. Trails are very hard so everyone seemed to be using spikes to the climb and snowshoes afterwards. Gusty crossing the Ridge and saw a couple goggles though they were not mandatory. Perfect views especially the Lowell slides. Given the forecast it seemed like old home day on Carrigain and really nice to see so many friends on a spectacular day. Congrats to BarbaraR for pushing through and getting the summit and 14 W4K and DaveC for 43 W4K and BillC also. Great day to be out and a really nice sunset on the road walk out and great full moon headed home.
