Comments
Comments: Windy in parking lot. Ascended OBP. Hoping wind would be at our back.
Wore snowshoes for traction in good snow cover to the hut. Decided to leave snowshoes on to summit, which became unfriendly with rocks and wind.
Beautiful blue sky on summit with little wind on south side. Changed to spikes and wore them throughout. Windy and chilly along ridge with occasional potential knockover gusts. Little ice and snow in areas on ridge. Wind seemed stonger nearing Little Haystack. Saw one climber who seemed to come up Walker Ravine. Saw no one until descending Falling Waters. Lots of folks playing on that side below treeline. Even two goofers wearing Carharts and cotton hooded sweatshirts. Great day out with Gary T.
