Great afternoon for this one! I skied Lincoln Woods to cut the monotony, then snowshoed up to Flume. Good packed trail much of the way - I cleaned it up on my way out after the booters ripped it up. The ladders were mostly buried - I walked up the snow on top of them with just my snowshoes. Very painful on top - any longer than 5 minutes and I'd need face/eye protection - it was just very cold and windy when I got there. Awesome views... made it out by dark! |
