Comments
Comments: missed out on this hike yesterday recovering from cold so went today. Ski patrol reported -3 with 20 mph winds on summit and it sure felt it. Nice walk up Polecat with very few skiers this morning. Ridge was heavily drifted in places with many fresh deep postholes coming off D in particular. Route across the ridge choppy from booters and drifted in places. Breezey and cold. Ledges all filled in heading to A where I snapped a few pics and headed back from whence I came. Ran into a young couple who looked cold tho they were moving fast. They had turned around at C peak.

I avoided reclimbing D by bushwacking directly to the ski trail. Fast track down..got a bit busy in places so i also dropped into the glades further down and followed the ski area boundary signs most of the way back to base. Colder than I thought it would be but terrific views today made for a great day out. Wore snowshoes car to car
