| Comments: |
We negotiated the entire hike wearing our MSRs. There were some stretches on the FJ trail that crampons would have been a better choice. Because of the frigid temps we were trying not to remove our hands from our mittens.
The trails to North are now very well packed and if I was hiking it tomorrow I would wear crampons instead of snow shoes.
Luckily the sun was out because the temp on the summit was minus 17f. |
