Comments
Comments: chilly start from the Fish hatchery. A dusting of fresh snow over a very fine soft packed snowshoe track to the Notch..Much drifting and a bit more fresh snow to the Cabin. Route across the ridge drifted in in places and wanders a bit but good corridor to the sign and the actual summit. No sign of activity on the Lower Mt Cabot Trail or the Kilkenny headed North. Zero degrees but happily very light winds on the ridge and summit. Great snowshoe conditions on descent..towards the bottom we hopped off trail and enjoyed some fine deep powder down towards the old road. Thanks Tim for a good day out
