Parking/Access Road Notes: Zealand Road closed. Parking at US 302 lot. lots of parking at both ends of hike.

Surface Conditions: Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Snow - Drifts

Water Crossing Notes: Water crossings rock hopping, some crossings ice bridged, all passable 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: overall the trails were in good shape with very few minor blowdowns 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: dogs might have been a bit cold on this day, but otherwise no issues.....the ledgy scramble off of Bondcliff is now pretty filled in with snow.

Comments: It was the coldest/windiest going over Guyot, but before and after that, the wind/cold was amazingly manageable. MANY thanks to the two young men that had broken the trail up to Zealand. That was a huge energy saver. And many thanks to my hiking companion, Brian, who braved the cold with me.
