| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Gale River and Haystack Roads closed. First to arrive at cu-de-sac at end of Little River Rd and within 10 minutes, a large motorcade of an outing club (from some well know Ivy League school) filled up the road! Thanks to someone in that group for providing directions for the Herd Path. |

| Surface Conditions: |

|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Able to easily avoid the first 2 crossings of the Little River via the bushwhack along the east side of the river (well broken out). The 3rd crossing was a little tricky as there is no solid bridge but it was doable |

| Comments: |
First time up N. Twin from the end of LIttle River Rd. For those thinking of doing this, take an immediate left at the end of the bridge along the river (not the ski mobile trail). This was a pleasant one mile warmup to the N. Twin trail. Most of the way to N. Twin was well packed. N. Twin Spur was drifted in but not difficult. Ran into Steve McGreal near the top of S. Twin and decided to go for Galehead as Steve offered a ride back to my car. Winds were very strong (maybe 50 mph) on top of S. Twin. At Galehead Hut, ran into Tim C and some friends who were doing the reverse direction. A very pleasant outing and thanks to Steve for helping me get 3 in one day. |
