Comments
Comments: Though well packed there was new snow over night along the ski trail and Gale river road. Those in front of us to Galehead broke out the Gale River Trail. The Twin way is well filled in and was an easy hike up. We prepared for the winds on South Twin at treeline and crossed the rocky summit. Snow was already drifted in from earlier hikers and we felt like we were breaking trail to North Twin. There was some drifting on the North Twin Trail but it was easy going. From Fire Warden's Trail out was very well packed. It was very windy on South Twin (45 Plus) but it only lasted for 5 minutes. We chose to do the loop CCW so the wind would be at out back. Thanks to Ali, Tracey, Megan and Nyx for a great day out.
