The first half of this trail (the osseo)is as nice a winter stroll as you will find. The trail is well packed bottom to top and I used Micro spikes all day.I was expecting a marginal day after listening to local weather but it turned out to be a really great day. The summit wasnt too pleasant, very windy and ice pellets. The ladder section was a bit sketchy but thats what makes it interesting. |
