Comments
Comments: A few inches of fresh snow on the road made driving conditions treacherous in the early morning but the snow was a nice addition to the trails.

Georg, John and I bare-booted to the Hale Brook trailhead where we put on snowshoes and kept them on for the rest of the day. A few hikers ahead of us had packed the trails and made our work easier.

All trails are in excellent condition and perfect for snowshoeing.

Lots of traffic to Zealand Hut - Zealand road and Zealand trail are well packed down.
