Comments
Comments: Headed up to Hi-Cannon from Lafayette CG at about 9:30 am. Didn't pass many people on the trail. Lots of blowdowns. When I hit the junction to Kinsman Ridge & Lonesome Lake Trail, Lonesome Had yet to be touched. On our way back down Lonesome Lake trail had been broken so decided to head down that way. Extremely steep. If going up I would have recommended Crampons in most spots. One part of the trail if going down seems to stop but because trail wasn't broken i believe the others who did break it made a small path up and around the steep skinny drop off where the actual trail is meant to be. Did some glissading, but lots of rock & tree stumps. Be VERY Careful. Other than that a beautiful day it was on the trail!
