great day! Perfect temps.. 15-25degrees. Snowed all day on us. Towards the summit, the brilliant blue sky popped out, but alas...no views. We had fabulous views of all the snow covered creatures in the snow...at least what the endorphins show us! :-))
Much fun with the group!
We wore microspikes as we'd opted to leave the snowshoes in the car. The trail from Mt. Field to Mt. Willey had solid pack underneath about 4 inches of new fluffy snow....no problems unless you got off the solid pack, then it was up to your crotch.... |
