Comments
Comments: great day on the ridge. wore spikes the whole day. snow is solid after the thaw. needed some form of traction right from the car. less ice than i expected. above treeline was almost entirely bare rock. i had crampons but never put them on. trail is pretty chewed up; lots of postholes from the thaw, but is solid. some ice, but mostly frozen snow. very low wind today; really interesting clouds.
