| Comments: |
Lonesome Lake Trail completely broken out to Lonesome Lake, packed powder. Lonesome Lake had about 6" of snow over the ice and it was drifting today. Fishin' Jimmy Trail packed powder with some ice showing on the steep section between 2700-3000, but more so between 3200-3700. It's slippery enough that I'd recomend MSR ascent snowshoes vs. Tubbs...I spoke with a few people who turned around because of traction issues. Kinsman ridge trail has about a foot of new snow, it was snowing all day. Some serious drifting on the summit of South Kinsman, with some 3' drifts in spots and based on the rate of snow, they will only be bigger tomorrow. |
