After checking out the trail, I left my snowshoes in the car. The trail was packed and frozen solid from the cold temps last night. I wore my Hillsounds car to car. The trail from the Sosman jct. to the summit was pretty torn up from bare booters, but everything was solid, with plenty of good surface to walk on. Sun peeking out with mild temps and no wind. Great day for a hike. Didn't see anyone by 10:00 when I was back at the car. Fast track today. |
