Trail Maintenance Notes: A few branches from hanging trees alongside the lion head winter route makes the small trail even smaller.

Comments: Lion Head Winter Route
Trail was for the most part ok definitely slushy and even in crampons could be slippery. I'd recommend being cautious going down lion head winter route. above tree line, still quite a bit of bare rock. Post-holing heading up the cone. I brought snow shoes, but I never used them. I started with Microspikes stopped at start of Lion Head winter route and switched to Crampons and broke out the ice axe.
