Comments
Comments: First 2.9 miles, well groomed. Bottom part of the Mt Osceola trail had quite a few exposed rocks and some ice. I was wishing for more snow right up until we saw how much there was up high. Starting at about 3400 Ft there was 6-12 then 12-18 and finally big 3 foot drifts toward the top. Last mile or so was hard work. Trail between summit was hard packed. We wore snow shoes but other 4 hikers wore crampons. Chimney bypass was only sketchy part and that wasn't too bad. Very little ice between summits. Did have a bear (Dave) sighting!!
