Comments
Comments: 19 MB Trail barebootable until Carter Dome Trail junction. Above that, marginally barebootable, but some drifting and soft snow and postholing potential.

Snowshoes came on at the Notch. I followed recent snowshoe tracks up from the Notch to Wildcat A - thanks to the trail breaker, who continued on to D and E, then returned. Track across slide had a half-decent snow shelf, but much care still required. A very thoughtful hiker might have use for a small saw here and there ascending A, especially after another foot or two of snow.
