No need to repeat what Pepper and Me already reported- Beautiful day on the ridge-high overcast with very clear visibility below it through diffused light. Winds were a bit stiff on the ridge but no big deal as it really wasn't a cold day up there. We used microspikes all the way over Lafayette to Little Haystack and changed to shoes for Falling Waters. The descent was great-2-3 inches of loose powder over a packed base made for a VERY quick hike down. All this will likely change over the coming few days of thaw. Great meeting Pepper and Me on Lafayette.... |
