The afternoon hike. After lunch at Dutch Treat in Franconia, Cannon was our goal. A bit slower go of it, after Waumbek in the morning, but made good time to the very windy summit. Great colors today, with patches of sun in the distance, and moody clouds overhead. Some postholes on the trail, but our two sets of snowshoes weren't enough to fill them all in. Great afternoon! |
