Comments
Comments: 1-2" of fresh snow had fallen overnight.
Windy day but the trails are well protected - even at the summit.
The trails are well packed and in perfect conditions (thanks to the people breaking the trails!) - perfect for snowshoeing.

Some drifting after the junction with the (no longer maintained) Mt. Cabot Trail and it gets worse from the cabin to the summit. I lost the trail a couple of times but quickly recovered.

Kilkenny Ridge in southerly direction appears to be broken out (but the trail is drifting over) and the same for the Unknown Pond Trail. I forgot to check KR in northerly direction beyond the summit. Sorry.

Nice to meet and chat with MtnRunr. We were the only people on the trails today.
