Comments
Comments: As others have noted, this route is now in superb shape. Solid snowshoe track top-to-bottom. The Engine Hill BW makes a high arc, taking it through the birch glades making for great vistas. The one spot we were dreading - the last 1/10 mile below the Davis Path - weaves an excellent route above the drainage, and onto the Davis Path. Have done this peak 6 or 8 times in winter, and have never seen a better route overall. The fact that it was a clear, crisp day with little wind enhanced the experience. Thanks to those who created this track.
