| Comments: |
Early start at 7 AM. Hancock Notch and Cedar Brook Trails well packed and bare bootable. Lower section of Hancock Loop trail also well packed. Trail up North peak and down South peak is in good shape. Trail from North peak to South peak along ridge is drifted with snow along most of the way. Hiker ahead of me broke out the trail with his snowshoes. Saw 18 hikers today, some with snowshoes but most with light traction on boots. I wore stabilicers all the way. Poles usefull especially on the steep sections. |
