Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The many small crossings are not bridged. A little tricky to keep snowshoes out of the water with the steep snowy slopes encouraging you to slip right into the water.

Comments
Comments: Lots of traffic today! A few inches of fresh powder down low and 5-6" up high. lots of drifting up on the ridge. A dozen or more hikers in snowshoes have the trail in fine shape. Not packed solid though - lots of loose fluffy stuff on the steeps, making for a fun descent! A few bare booters were out for an afternoon stroll down low but not too much damage. Prob cleaned up by late day hikers.

Beautiful but chilly day. No sign of tracks from Sabbaday or Scaur.

Thanks, Heather - fun day!
