Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Lower lot of Ethan Pond does not get plowed in winter but there is a turnout not far away to park. DO NOT PARK ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AS OUR CARS WERE ABOUT TO GET TOWED BUT LUCKILY WE ARRIVED IN TIME!!!
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Snow - Unpacked Powder
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment: Snowshoes
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Not a major issue but snow is obscuring good footing so snowshoes may get wet as you cross.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Blowdowns south of Willey. We did loose the trail descending from Willey a bit before the ladders due to poor blazing. This whole section needs a lot of work between removing blowdowns and blazing.

Comments
Comments: Snowshoes car to car. We had to break trail from the top of Willey to the Ethan Pond Trail. Had a blast descending/butt sliding down the steeps. Ethan Pond Trail was partially broken from the day before so we laid down some nice tracks.

It started to snow around 11:30am and got heavier throughout the day.
