Comments
Comments: a pretty well packed out snowshoe track to avalon to start then we broke out from the avalon spur to willey range trail. depths ranged from 1-2 feet with some deeper drifts. at least a couple more people were planning to descend it today so the track should be decent. willey range trail had been travelled yesterday (thanks jeff and karine), but was pretty well blown in at times to willey. the same from field to the a-z trail. the tom spur had seen more travel and had a real nice snowshoe track to the summit. descending a-z the track was quite nice as well though given the footwear choices of some folks we passed heading up it may be quite beaten up if they descended the same way. we wore snowshoes the whole day.

nice day on the willey range. cold and a bit windy with light snowfall pretty much the whole time we were out. so much great snow in the woods. thanks to cynthia for a nice hike.
