Comments
Comments: A very fine Christmas Day hike! Crazy snow burst in the morning dumped 4 inches or so as we were headed up. That really helped to smooth out some of the serious postholes along the way. It's not quite as bad as the reports from previous days. The steep crevice near the summit is almost completely filled in with snow. Hiked right up it in snowshoes, but had to back down it as it was a little too steep for sliding. We wore the snowshoes all day but there were times when the channel was a bit narrow and uncomfortable for them. Merry Christmas!
