Comments
Comments: Epic day out on Christmas. Broke trail the entire way! We wore our snowshoes the entire time. Frozen ice with lots of powder snow on top. Did not see anyone until the summit (couple of weather obs folks came out to say Merry Christmas and say hi to Pemi). No winds but visibility was minimal. Hard to find our way back down Jewell so we back tracked to the cog and descended next to the tracks. Wish we had our skis because there was a ton of FRESHIES! Pemi did his own skiing in the powder. Merry Christmas!
