Lost and Found: Black&Silver B-D headlamp on bushwhack .2 miles or so E of the stream and within .1 mile N of the trail.

Comments
Comments: Bare boots and/or light traction sufficient to about 2900' (finishing the initial face of the Rocky Branch ridge) -- but then postholing became a big issue and we had to switch to snowshoes, just as soon as the trail flattened after taking its NW turn. There's already at least a couple of feet there, underneath the crust!

Great day -- and although we didn't hike beyond 3200', the wind overhead was literally roaring. Summitting would indeed have been interesting.
