Comments
Comments: Perfect conditions for moving fast, except for flooded stream crossings near beginning. I wore Microspikes, brother wore Hillsounds most of the way, but all could be bare booted as water ice minimal, with solid frozen granular crust the entire route that lends to kicking steps. Met a solo hiker heading up in dark with red bulb in head lamp below the steeps on our way down. Progress continues on "P.M. Grid" (no hiking during A.M.).
