Comments
Comments: The trail was in surprisingly good condition--in fact, one of the easiest winter hikes up and down the steep sections that I can remember. Trails were well packed in most places and light traction was adequate. Where there was a little drifting on steep sections, earlier hikers had left well placed footsteps to step in. It was snowing pretty hard when we finished--there may be some nice fresh snow tomorrow. Snowshoes, anyone?
